Arangkada 2026: Driving the JCI Spirit
Arangkada 2026: A Journey Towards Impact was JCI Silang Cattleya’s week long celebration of service, leadership, and community action, inspired by the Filipino jeepney as a symbol of resilience, unity, and everyday sacrifice. Anchored on the theme of raising awareness on the effects of oil price hikes on jeepney drivers and commuters, the project paid homage to one of the Philippines’ most iconic cultural markers while highlighting the struggles of grassroots communities.
In line with JCI Week 2026’s call for Caring Today, Shaping Tomorrow, the initiative transformed this national concern into meaningful action through community programs, youth engagement, leadership development, and inclusive advocacy. Through projects like Kalingang Cattleya: Kanlong at Kulay and Iskolympics, alongside stakeholder partnerships and member driven activities, Arangkada 2026 embodied JCI’s mission of creating positive change by responding to real community needs and driving sustainable impact for the future.
JCI Silang Cattleya transformed the Philippine jeepney from a symbol of transport into a symbol of action by designing Arangkada 2026 as a moving force for community impact. The chapter rolled out a journey inspired by the jeepney’s route, where each stop represented a meaningful initiative under JCI’s Four Areas of Opportunity. From engaging youth through educational and developmental activities, to creating safe spaces for children with special needs and their families, to strengthening ties with government leaders, private foundations, and partner chapters, every action mirrored the jeepney’s purpose of carrying people forward. By connecting advocacy with direct service, Arangkada 2026 turned the realities of oil price hikes into a platform for awareness, solidarity, and sustainable change.
